Maybe Walton is the worst if he's doing a game your team is playing in, but if I'm just watching a random game, I really enjoy Walton. I love his off the wall tangents plus he loves basketball more than you love anything in your life.

That's easy. Dude in the blue shirt. If you watch the film closely, he's all over the place, chasing Dorothy through the town, down the Yellow Brick Road, throwing streamers/flowers, etc. Guy was a rock star for munchkin-type-eligible actors.

Maybe your somewhat like for Doyle is because the only announcer on BTN that is worth a poo is Jim Jackson and he may be a little better than the rest of the conglomerate. Maybe?

I can't comprehend what he says half of the time due to his perfect speech, but the million tangents he goes into are what I just can't stand about him. He loves basketball probably more than any other announcer, but that doesn't make him good by any means, he is just passionate about basketball.

I like Doyle on the BTN because he is the only guy that will unappogetically sneak in a Saved By the Bell reference in every broadcast he does. Regardless of situation.
And I think everyone is referring to Beth Mowins when talking about the chick broadcaster. I can't stand her calls, but love her sweater puppies. Amirite!?!?
I like Musberger for probably the wrong reasons. When he was talking about how hot AJ McCarron's girlfriend was in the NC game 2 years ago, I thought it was hilarious and true. I like how he references gambling and Vegas all the time. I think his voice is recognizable in a good way and he has a personality with it.
Doyle reminds me of Kelso from That 70's Show which probably means he's terrible, but I think it's hilarious.

Oh my God... Bill Walton. He has to make at least one reference to the Grateful Dead every broadcast..
Part of the reason he is the most original analyst out there. He expands the vocabulary of analyzing bb games which I appreciate. Example :'' These fans are irate with that call''.
Walton is well-read and full of energy...... with an encyclopedic memory for detail. The other nite he talked about Chasson Randle, top of his HS class at Rock Island....and immediately waxed poetic about Iowa All-American Don Nelson of Rock Island.....I like him. He knows the history of the game. Worst: Vitale.

He isn't in the Broadcasting HOF yet either, at least I don't believe he is. I remember Nantz just crying every tournament that it was such a shame Puker wasn't in the HOF. He was the worst and toward the end he just got so bad and like you said he didn't hide his loyalties. It was pretty bad when he would just drag the other coach that he didn't want to win through the mud during games, just another one of those ex-coaches that knew more than everyone else and if they weren't doing it his way they were wrong, just ask him.
