Worst NCAA Basketball commentator?

Who do you think gets this honor...I am very torn between Vitale and Bill Walton...possibly the women that ESPN puts on? Not even sure of their names
 
Definitely Pam Ward. I know her hame isn't really Pam Ward, but any women announcer on ESPN I just call Pam Ward because they sound like Pam Ward.
 
Vitale is pretty bad. And honestly, pretty sad at this point. Everytime I see the clip of Austin Rivers' shot to beat UNC a couple years ago:

Pam Oliver? Wendy Ward? I've read that Reid Gettys is the absolute worst.

edit: after review, the Wendy Ward guess was dead wrong. But so is the Pam Ward mention, because she is a softball announcer.

I like Walton unless he's doing a UCLA game. Vitale is unlistenable to me at this point, yet ESPN seems to trot him out for every big game.
 
I'm also not a fan of Gus Johnson anymore. He's following the same arc as Vitale and has become a caricature of himself. Now we wait another 20 years or so and he'll keep trotting out the same catchphrases with less enthusiasm and in a shell of his current voice.

Clark Kellog and Jay Bilas are the two best guys out there, and they're both the kind of guys who will have longevity at a high level. They don't rely on screaming or catchphrases that will inevitably lose their charm. They just bring outstanding knowledge to viewers night in, night out, without trying to be controversial (Dakich).
 
It's no contest. The worst announcer is whoever is doing the latest Cyclone game. You don't have to take my word for it. Ask a Cyclone fan.
