Wisconsin beat NW and they're ranked now. Michigan will probably be ranked. It's kind of ridiculous Michigan is not ranked now. I still think if Wisconsin wins out they're in and they will have beat 3 or 4 ranked teams. I'm amazed Iowa's schedule is considered tougher than Notre Dame's schedule (6th vs 9th), if I'm reading that right.

Not sure about Michigan, their best wins are all 4-5 teams. They finish with back-to-back games against Michigan and OSU as well. I see them finishing at 8-4.

All this national talk of Wisconsin's weak schedule and no respect has got to piss them off. They're going to show up Saturday looking to finally prove themselves vs a ranked opponent. That could be bad for Iowa.

I think Iowa hangs with them and takes it. Gonna be a blood bath, as they all are, but we need to be as perfect as we can be, right from the get go. Weak schedule or no weak schedule, Wisconsin will be a tough place to pull out a W, but I predicted 30-20 Iowa

Yes it could be. Thinking the same thing. Glad that Iowa broke tendencies against Ohio St, though. At least that might make it more difficult for them to scheme.

Iowa has held every opponent under their average scoring except Iowa State which was early in the season. I initially tried to look up what Wisky's average was for a game and got sidetracked. Anybody know?

Think they average around 35 a game.

36 a game. They only put up 17 vs purdue and 24 vs illinois though.

I think I've watched all of their B1G games this year. They usually look like crap in the first half and then just pour it on in the second half.

Sounds like their interior line just eventually wears them out.

Reality is they are not used to decent competition. Win or lose, this is going to mostly be a KF equation. They haven't been spectacular.

This is exactly right and they can't do this to the Hawks I don't think. At least in the Wiscy games I have watched, they are just more physical and other teams can't play with them the entire game.

I also agree that this is not the advantage it is when they play other teams. This is one of Iowa's strengths and they know they can be physical after controlling the LOS against Ohio St. It is AT LEAST a push.

Those O linemen of OSU were huge. Their legs looked like tree trunks. They made our guys on defense look small. Heck Barrett was bigger than our d line. If we survived that I think we'll hang with the badgers.

There is a lot to like about this Iowa team. I hope they continue the improvement we have seen and play well against Wisconsin. If they do, I think they can beat the Badgers. What I like best about Iowa's team this year?

They are really tough.
