A win over Wisconsin on Saturday puts us back in the tourny hunt now. Obviously, if you can win at Indiana you can win at Iowa but still, this is a huge game on Saturday.
I think Indiana is more talented than Iowa this year but also think Carver is going to be a much tougher atmosphere to play in Saturday night than Assembly Hall was last night.
I seriously doubt that.
I think you're right, as we saw in our game against Indiana, if you can slow the game down and make them play halfcourt offense, they aren't that good. Indiana is terrific if they can get out and run, like in the first half against Minnesota, but when teams slow them down they are very beatable.

20th Anniversary of Street dying added with this being the first time Iowa has played Wisconsin since the Uthoff transer ordeal played out is going to make Carver go absolutely bonkers on Saturday night.
I think its going to be a good game and a win would be huge for the Hawks.
Did you watch the game last night? That crowd was absolutely electric and was going nuts for the entire second half. I'm sure Carver will be emotional on Saturday, I'm sure it will be tough but it won't be any more crazy than what Assembly Hall was last night.
I don't know why people think I wouldn't come back here and post? It's a road game. In the BIG. Followed by a ridiculously hard fought physical and emotional game against Indiana. It's a game that Wisconsin can easily lose. If they do does that say Iowa is better than Wisconsin? No, it means Iowa won on their home court. You have to win your home games in this league if you want any chance.
2-8 might be generous.
Laughing my A** off at this!!

Hey when you get every single bounce to go your way, you should win a few. Traevon Jackson is brutal and throwing **** in left and right after clanking around the rim 3 times. Any team should win being as fortunate
About as brilliant as Jon Miller's 9th place prediction for Wisconsin. What is that saying? Those that don't learn from history are destined to repeat it?.
