Wirfs on Goal Line

How about trying the fullback in short yardage situations every once in a while. A fullback dive would be our super sneaky trick play.

I think Brady Ross had something like 9 1st downs on 10 touches this year. Just money on converting.

Don't know what the exact percentages were, but I did notice. I'm not a big fan of the quarterback sneak either. I'm not saying take the quarterback sneak out, but if you have a fullback who is decent in short yardage situations, why do so many?

My goal line philosophy is to run on first down, pass on second down, and go play action on third down.

Do it a couple times in early non-con games to make sure other teams see it. Then, when we need it against Wisconsin, put him back there but fake it and do a TE fade or something.

Clemson did this a bunch last year. I'd rather do something original, like maybe find a guy similar to Tim Tebow and only use him in goal line situations.
