Will McCall make the bowl trip?

I hope you are correct that the reason is grades. Grades is much better then what i heard ... for the university and for McCall. The one thing that doesn't make sense to me about the grades is that they can't be out yet ... unless his are so bad that there is no chance he can become eligible.

Just as well get rid of him early if you know he won't be eligible to continue anyway ...

Its just what I heard today from someone that should know, take it for what it is but I believe the person by no means am I 100% sure. Grades might not be OUT yet but reports get back to the coaches and that is a given.

hold on a minute - i thought you knew why he was suspended?? and grades/attendance, etc are easily found out prior to final grades being issued.

I did in fact hear of something that occurred that may have led to McCall being suspended. I was told this information by someone whom I trust completely the same day it was announced he was suspended. I would not post information if I did not trust the source who told me.

The reason given to me was not grades or facebook post ... though I do wish they were.

This is why people talk about McCall. Being able to take 5-10 carries away from Coker actually BENEFITS Coker--and the team--long-term. I'm sure there's a faction that thinks McCall should get more carries than Coker, but generally I'm not reading many bad things about Coker in these McCall threads.

This is exactly right. Its weird that when someone says something good about McCall people on here get offended like they are dissing Coker and start mocking the person. It doesn't have to be one or the other, they could possibly both be good. I swear half the people on here don't even read the posts they respond to

when this is all said and done, i assume you'll post what you heard.

and grades can be found out at any time. i'm assuming the staff is given updates prior to final grades being released, just like a certain running back was having 'academic indigestion' prior to the minnesota (or ohio state, can't remember exactly) game, which was prior to final grades being released and was suspended accordingly.

Exactly. McCall is a perfect compliment to Coker. Let's hope that McCall can get his issue squared away.
