his refusal to change his thinking and coaching style?

No. Barring either an absolute crazy miracle season or multiple consecutive seasons of less than 6 wins. His legacy is written in stone.

He won’t hurt his legacy but you can damn sure be certain he will hurt his sons chances of being handed the keys at Iowa, if that is his goal. I’ve always contended that BF will never ever be Head coach at Iowa and I firmly believe that.

His legacy will is his agents abilty to string along a gutless AD into making his client a comfortable millionaire. We need a new AD desperately. One who can break this cycle.

It depends on how many more years he stays, and if he does get his unqualified son hired as HC. He's on the precipice of both.

Agreed. Brian will likely leave when KF leaves. And he should. I think we got 3-5 more years before that happens though, and not sure I'm ok with that.

Always been a KF guy but either 1) he's telling BF what to do or constraining what BF wants to do or 2) letting his son run an offense that has been terrible and we all know he wont fire or demote him.

Damn

Good point. Without significantly more success in the next couple years, if BF were handed the HC job, that would absolutely hurt his legacy, at least for me. It would absolutely prove many detractors correct.
