I do like Josh O shooting the ball when he has a shot.....

Trey can't get trapped under the basket among the trees with no place to pass or go.....

Aaron working with Durant and LaBron, I like it.....
 
The Miller/Wolfgang podcast emphasized the toughness of the team other than Woody.,...

They wre very despondent about guard play.....

Love Woody hitting the mid range jump shot.....

Really loved Wolfgang saying that Dakich is an idiot......
 
Woody misses a bunny and then hits a 16 ft jumper, then runs the courts on a fast break and gives a charge. Up and down game so far for him.

Uthoff is hitting the boards and Oglesby is hitting his threes. Different feel in this game .

He seems to know his range and if he is it the right spot.....

If he is consistent, he will draw attention outside and has the ability to fake a shot and drive to the basket.....

The charge was either a bad call or a really good defensive play. Not sure which but it looked like there was no way the defender would get slid over in time but on the replay it looked like he might have. Hard to be upset with Woody on that one. He did finish the bucket so that was a plus kinda.

The bunny he missed was bad and he really needs to get consistant at those if he wants to take the next step.

Clemmons is still hitting his threes. Had a nice one from the corner as the shot clock was expiring. Iowa 34 NIU 20 at half.
 
Iowa got a little sloppy there before half but should wear Northern Illinois down in the 2nd half. Their big man has been getting some good looks/rebounds and Iowa has to shut that down.

Gesell is struggling. 0-4 shooting with 1 assist and 1 turnover.
 
Not much PT for Dickerson, Jok and Uhl? I know they struggled when they were in. Wish Fran would bring them in one at a time to let them get into the flow with other starters instead of as a complete line change.

41% shooting at the half .... Not great either

Its worse than the stat says too. A lot of our makes were in transition off sloppy plays by them. We can't count on those against good teams. Our outside shooting is ugly again.

I think after Dickerson took that deep three and then barreled into their center later on during a wild drive he was sat down for the half. He needs to make better decisions.

We'll win (I mean, we better) but it's so disheartening to see this team continue to be unable to shoot. Our strength might be on the defensive end and I'm not sure that's going to continue.

I see Dickerson run really,really fast with the ball and I go "that could be fun" and then he shoots.
