Why Maryland and Syracuse?

Syracuse has a pathetic and way sub par facility for football and basketball. It would make Northwestern's facilties look prime.

The Carrier Dome may not be state of the art but comparing it to Northwestern is silly. Syracuse leads the nation, or is at least in the top five, in basketball attendance every year. They drew 34,000 to one game last season, does Northwestern draw that for the entire season?

yeah the more we talk about it I really don't get Cuse either, I'd think with rutgers AND ND that'd be enough pull for NY. Without ND, I'd say Cuse makes more sense.
