Why Jarryd Cole is a Great Hawk

He's a great Hawkeye because he could kick all of our a$$es for saying otherwise!!! And for starting a Hawkeye and staying a Hawkeye through 3 horrible seasons! Much appreciated JC.

Agreed. JC has been a true Hawkeye through thick and thin, and I've enjoyed watching him play and grow with the Iowa Hawkeyes. Hopefully he will stick around the community, but wherever he goes after he graduates I wish him all the best.

Now go out and have a KICKASS season Jaryd! GO HAWKS!
 
Id love for him to work on his handles and play a little more aggressive but he gets all my respect for staying true to the hawks.
 
Yeah, nice to see him to stick to his word and all, but the real story is that he had more knee surgery and is just starting to jog again. I might have just been out if the loop, but I didn't know this.

With reports that Cougill is still Cougill and Archie is still Archie, Iowa will need Cole to play massive minutes and have a huge year.
 
Cole was fighting some knee issues still,last season. Did it rob him of a little explosiveness? I suspect so. Hope he can put it all together physically this year and have a big final seaon. He has earned it. With a healthy Cole and Basabe side by side, they might not be real tall,but they will provide resistance to most frontlines in the league.
