He isn't very versatile. I guess he can't catch the ball real well. Their defense knows when Daniels is in the game, it's most likely going to be a run so they can load the box. Greg Davis can fool their defense by making Daniels a decoy from time to time. Pass the ball to receivers or TEs. A loaded box will facilitate longer pass plays if CJ can stay upright.
I saw Daniels' performance against Minnesota. It looks like he was over his high ankle sprain in that game. When he runs, he has to remember to run north and south. He doesn't have the speed to outrun most linebackers. LeShun will find easier running against teams that don't have such great interior defensive linemen like Nebby and MSU.
