Why, IMO, L. Daniels isn't playing all that much

He isn't very versatile. I guess he can't catch the ball real well. Their defense knows when Daniels is in the game, it's most likely going to be a run so they can load the box. Greg Davis can fool their defense by making Daniels a decoy from time to time. Pass the ball to receivers or TEs. A loaded box will facilitate longer pass plays if CJ can stay upright.

I saw Daniels' performance against Minnesota. It looks like he was over his high ankle sprain in that game. When he runs, he has to remember to run north and south. He doesn't have the speed to outrun most linebackers. LeShun will find easier running against teams that don't have such great interior defensive linemen like Nebby and MSU.

Daniels was a four star out of high school, wasn't he? Little did we know that 4 star meant for fullback not halfback. Daniels is KF's kinda halfback.

I heard they're sitting Daniels down for a heart-to-heart to force him to play slot receiver.

No mystery here. A power back isn't the way to go against MSUs athletic and strong front. See Elliot getting stuffed. You can only beat them with speed. Wadley and JC gave us the best chance to be successful. It will be interesting how Derek Henry does. I bet he gets stuffed for like 65 yards total for the game.

It is getting more apparent that Daniels can explode when the offensive line is having its way like against Purdue, Minny, some other teams. But when the holes are small Daniels doesnt seem to be getting the yards Canzeri was getting. Daniels looks plenty fast when he can hit that big hole.

But I am really hoping that again next year Wadley, Daniels and Mitchell will be a tough group all in all.

I hope he sees less than 5 carries unless the o-line is opening up holes big enough to drive a truck through. Otherwise give me Canzeri or Wadley

LD looks the part. He has a Adrian Peterson like physique obviously he does not run like AP. I am with hawkfan2679 i can't tell if it is a confidence issue or an injury deal. It very well could be look like Tarzan play like Jane.

eye test, daniels isn't that quick to the hole. Canzeri and Wadley are so they should get carries.
