So he should have said something like “ well thank god the 6’9 kid can play point guard” or something all those lines . But then that’s really dumbing down the joke and that only works for the simple folk
We need every position for the 2020 class, not just point guard. You guys either didn't think it out enough to realize it made no sense, or you like sarcasm think includes factually incorrect information. So dumb or bad sense of humor? Which one is it?

Well I have made it know I don’t like anyone on this roster. But that’s just me . I want this program to take the next step and that doesn’t mean third place in the big ten . I want final fours , great eights and sweet 16’s. If you make the NIT you better win the fucker.
There will only be 2 guys (3 if you count Connor) left on the roster by the time this kid would get here. That's my point. Our roster now is completely irrelevant for the 2020 class. The joke sucked. Admit it and move on.

The joke had nothing to do with forwards . You didn’t get it just admit it. On a side note ..... I will be disappointed if Connor isn’t starting at the 1 and JW at the 2 next year. I was impressed with Connor’s perimeter defense what little action he got before he got winded being in for too long of stretches. If JBO isn’t backing up JW and Dailey isn’t backing up Connor then once again we will struggle on defense next year and defense and rebounding always beats a good offense

He said we are thin there. That part was there to make fun of Fran for going after another forward even tho we have too many.

Because it's the 2020 class. Is it that hard to figure out? We don't have too many forwards in 2020. We have two.
So enlighten me then. Why did he even mention we are "too thin at forward" if it wasn't to make a joke that Fran shouldn't be wasting time on another forward?

Oh I have Fran figured out and so does the guy who made the joke . He is a lazy ass shitty recruiter . He can go check out Iowa City Regina anytime . So why the F isn’t he at a Martin Luther King game in Chicago looking for a player for the 2020 class? Because his kid is playing against him and he can kill two birds with one stone ? You aren’t getting it . He feels we need a point guard NOW . He has plenty of time for the class of 2020 .
