Stanley. Everyone talks about the sky is falling around the QB.
Uh, no... not everybody. Actually...not much of anybody at all.

All the talking heads, "experts", are giving us little chance this year due to inexperience at QB and strength of schedule.Uh, no... not everybody. Actually...not much of anybody at all.

I like that wildcat QB idea with Boyle. Do it with a double TE formation and let Boyle pick a lane to run or release Fant for a pass.Noah Clayberg (already #2 at SS on 2 deep) and played there 1 week of spring ball.... predict on special teams - maybe return game.
Ryan Boyle - goal line Wildcat QB - this would mean the new OC would be a 'pleasant surprise'.

Got it? Good job.So skepticism due to new quarterback = sky is falling. Got it.
Exactly. This thread is way too soon. Let's score some touchdowns first. And make a few opposing qb's eat some grass.I'll let you know after someone surprises me.
Should be a crowded backfield, hopefully he gets meaningful touches, same for Toks. If they don't, be patient, as next year really opens up.Toren the rb will be a key asset. He's a thumper and will come up big.
That is what I said, lack of experience. I never said lack of talent.Yeah, the worry at qb is no experience, not lack of talent.

I could see him getting short yardage touches/red zone ones. I'm interested to see him play more and if he runs hard with his pads low he might get a few more touches than some think.Toren the rb will be a key asset. He's a thumper and will come up big.
He's an interesting case. There's the group of guys older than him (Vandeberg, Easley and now the kid that's transferring in.) Then there's the freshman corp that's all hungry and about to come in behind him. If he or Falconer are going to make a mark the next few weeks of summer practice may say a lot..Devontae Young.
