Whos next?

If Woodbury commits, and we get another decent recruit, this will be a HUGE class. Def would be in the top 25 for ESPN which is great for the program.

It would be the first class in a very long time that brought in two 4 star recruits.

Gesell, Woodbury, Meyer, Abrahamson, Ingram, Dickerson

That would be one HECK of a class...

The next player to Iowa is Patrick Ingram, it wouldn't surprise me if he commits during his visit, or very shortly thereafter.
As for the rest of the class: Woodbury and nobody else.
People don't want to see Iowa bank scholarships, but if they add Woodbury and Ingram to Gesell/Meyer, unless someone falls in their lap, why fill anymore?
If Iowa can't add Woodbury, what about the Jansen kid? He seems to be a player that has impressed during the AAU circuit some this year. Jansen reminds me of Graham Brown that played at Michigan, he was a bruiser who defened and rebounded, but could score when the opportunity presented itself. Brown was not all world by any stretch of the imagination, but was a great role player who did the dirty work.

Yes it would bring back memories of Brunner & Horner, the last 2 four star recruits Iowa has gotten in the same class.

But imagine if Meyer improves his rating slightly (1 rating point on ESPN) then Iowa would have 3 four star recruits.

But Woodbury is the key to this class. If Iowa landed him it would be a wake up call to the rest of the top recruits that Iowa is a school to consider. The MVP of the NBA Camp selecting Iowa over North Carolina is going to open up some eyes.

I also like the chances of Woodbury becoming a Hawk, just a strong feeling with no evidence. Hope it works out that way. It would be very nice to get Ingram, we could certainly use two point gruards. In Fran's system they would both get a lot to playing time, returning to the floor completely refreshed and ready to go. Fran will be able to employ the human wave philosophy with quick, athletic, intelligent players with only one objective in mind.....

Hopefully Woodbury looks at the UNC offer like Abrahamson looked at the Iowa offer, too little too late. They obviously are going after him as sloppy seconds BUT comparing an Iowa offer to UNC is a pretty large stretch.
