I’m actually going to the game with my kid, got some cheap tickets. Looking like that one and Michigan State I think.

But if I wasn’t I don’t know if I’d continue my streak of hundreds of Hawk football games seen either in person or on TV.

I already pay enough for YouTube tv…
 


I've had peacock for a year.

And yes, I subscribed strictly to get B1G coverage.

In the scheme of things, $7.99/month doesn't break the bank and gives me access to something I love.
 




I will be at the game. My gripe is that when PeeCock televises, I can’t dvr the game. I have Dish. I usually rewatch games at least twice and for me that is 1/2 the fun. Old coaches like me like to slow mo, repeat, watch various areas.

We'll be there too, my 19 year old must want to impress his girlfriend at her first Hawkeye game (big fan but never been to IC), because he paid a fat stack to sit middle endzone down low on the north end. Those young'uns love that area because of how loud and crazy it is. He's got a damn good job for a kid that he likes a lot, so when he told me how much he paid I didn't call him a dumbass. I chuckled. To be young again with more money than bills or brains...Let him have his fun and impress his girl, he ain't gonna be 19 for very long. I hope we win 'cause that'd be icing on the cake.

What's hilarious is it seems like yesterday that I took him to his first game as a little kid and watched his jaw drop when he saw the stadium. Now he driving himself and just meeting us at the tailgate and staying in their own hotel somewheres else. I just hope someday he takes his own kid because It'll make him feel like I did.

You dudes out there with young kids, slow down and absorb it.

If I wasn't going to the game I'll admit I'd probably pay for it. But I'll still yell and bitch to my friends about it like an old codger.

And like @HuckFinn said, I can't re-watch. I always watch again the next morning. If I go to the game live I want to see the little stuff I missed, and if I watched it live the day before I like to go back and see it play by play with no commercials. Can't do that with this one.

I was wondering if it was recordable. I guess not. Does Peacock have a replay of the game at any time?
 








I got a Peacock subscription a couple of years ago. Probably will get a Paramount subscription so I can watch UFC fights and finally go all in with the Taylor Sheridan shows.

Then I’m done with all the streaming/subscription stuff.;)
 






As most of you know I'm a soccer fan so it's nice to have an additional reason to have Peacock (and Paramount+) other then to watch European soccer and Champions League. It's great when it comes in handy and I'm already a subscriber, but I feel the pain of others.
