That was awesome. LOLOLOL watching Niang chuck up clankers in double teams just proves how selfish that ballhog is with the game on the line.
 
But,... but they play an exciting brand of basketball. Who cares about defense or rebounds
 
First in the Big 12 in scoring offense.......2nd to last in scoring defense.....You gotta get after it on the defensive end a little bit.

ISU joins the elite fraternity of Duke, Arizona, Missouri, Georgetown, and South Carolina as the only schools in NCAA history to lose first round games as a #2 and #3 seed.

I only wish that UAB would have hit a last second shot to bury ISU...but dominating them for all but the first 5 mins was a nice consolation!

Then to top off a fabulous start to the day, it sounds like several of ISUs players walked off without shaking UAB players' hands.

Keep up the class "mayor". We knew that the whole "Transfer U" thing was going to come back to bite you at some point. Looks like those chickens have now come home to roost. A program built on a foundation of sand was bound to collapse at some point!
 
Sorry guys, I hate Iowa State fans but I loved this Iowa State team (except for Niang, who is a complete d-bag).

Hoiberg handled the loss with class and dignity

It's still a painful memory, but look up the #3 seed in the Atlanta Regional of the 2006 NCAA tournament. The schools you listed above are not the only schools in NCAA history to lose first round games.
