Who Would You Take if you had 1st Pick in PTL Draft

I took Mel for pretty much the same reason.

those are how i would put the top 5. my opinion is based on the fact that ptl is more like aau which is pretty wide open so guard play is big.

This. Marble is the best on the list at creating his own shot and taking people off of the dribble, IMO.

But Mel cannot play the point nor does he beat many players off the dribble.

BTW, is Marcus Paige playing in the PTL? I see Hlas tweet back to JDM with Paige as his first pick.

i forgot about uthoff...i would put him 4th and ogelsby or clemmons 5th. looking at just the iowa players here. what other players outside hawkeyes are in the league?

I picked Cole poor fella deserves some love. He was the Roger Dangerfield of the recent Hawks I swear. Didn't know he was going to be back for it. Hope he doesn't get on same team as Woodbury. Woodbury could learn alot by having to bang against him a few times. As far as if I was seriously trying to build a team to win the league It would be close between Marble and Gessell. I just remember years ago when little Brody Boyd threw in 50 in a game. Not sure if Gessell is that good but ball handling shooters are the difference makers.

I would take Mel. He's the most athletic guy in a league that is slightly more unstructured and open-court oriented than normal. He will almost certainly be in the top five in the league in points, rebounds, and blocks.

However, all the other teams have good options too. Mel, Woody, Zach, Jarrod, Ogelsby, May, ALi good guys to build around, also.

How many teams are there?

It would be interesting to see how people would draft their team with the available players and what strategies they might use. Wasn't there a limit on players from the same school on a team?

Honestly I'd like to see Woodbury with Clemmons, Marble or White.
And Gesell with either Marble, White or Basabe

I'd like to see them start to mesh and get a good feel of each other's game.
