That called Sound-Off last night and said that he thought Fran McCaffery wasn't a good hire because all the great coaches have simple names?

The first two names Keith came up with were Tom Izzo & Coach K. but this didn't slow the caller down as he was much too focused on proving his "point", if he in fact had one to make.

apparently that caller hasn't heard all the people that have screwed up Ferentz's name the last 10 years

Good point. The caller also made fun of Coach McCaffery's name, calling him McCaffery-e-e-e-e. Which brought to mind the axiom: show me someone that resorts to personal insults and I'll show you someone that is insecure with their argument.

I can dig it, allthough I believe Buggs actually used "Ultra Maroon". ;-)

Bugs actually used "maroon" quite a bit...usually followed in some sequence of getting bonked on the head while trying to say "nincompoop", causing it to come out as "nincom.....poop (higher pitched voice)"!

Speaking of classic...
