Who starts at center?

I don't agree with that.

Woodys mental grasp of the game is much more advanced. He understands all of the little things that Gabe doesn't yet. Where to be and when, how and why to get an outlet pass out as quickly as possible. Stuff that doesn't show up in the stats.

He plays better position defense too.

They are both pretty decent at what they do on offense but both have very different offensive skill sets.

Iowa will win a big10 championship in the next couple years if these two progress as they seem to be.

Also, if you're just going by PTL stats Woody averaged 8.3rb/gm, Gabe averaged 6.5rb/gm.

I'd like to see a rotation of Woody, Gabe and occasionally Basabe at center. Keep the legs fresh and push the tempo.

Olaseni, Woodbury, White, Marble, Gesell this would a fun lineup to see. So would this one; Olaseni, Basabe, White, Oglesby, Gesell. Lol, the combinations are endless. Fran has put together a war chest. How do you leave out a strong fearless McCabe who can muscle up under the basket and yet bomb away from three point land? The high octane offense will give opposing defenses fits. Just when you think you can relax when freshman Clemmons comes in, he picks your pocket and passes a head to White for a slamma jam a. How fun was it to watch the alley oops to May for those one handed slam dunks. This team is going to run, run, run opponents into the ground. Oh please can we have the butler way back so I can go to the games and study when the library is a little noisy?

Yep, that could very well be the starting lineup to start the regular season. I would be surprised if it is not with the possibility of Olaseni slipping in there if he keeps coming on strong. Although McCabe brings experience to the table you can't teach height and wing span. Question, and I am not trying to be funny and put McCabe down as he was my sleeper pick back when he was a freshman and many were trying to throw him under the bus, but can McCabe stuff the ball?

I'm pretty sure I saw him stuff it at least once as a HS junior.
