Who saw the guy run on the field today?

Funny only because of the way he surrendered to the trooper that finally came out on to the field after him, and because I'd never seen this in real life before.

For those who weren't there a random dude in jeans and a tshirt came jetting out from the north end zone and made it all the way out to the 50. Turned around and headed back towards the north end zone but was met by 1 trooper, then 4 more. As soon as he saw the first trooper he sunk to the turf and threw his hands up in the air surrendering. I guess I would have thought if you had the balls to run onto the field, you would have equal balls to try and juke out and officer or two that are chasing you.

1. He didn't make it anywhere near the 50 yard line.
2. He probably was afraid he would get tazed if he didn't surrender.
 
If your going to run...

Go naked and go as long and as hard as you can. Dont surrender and then shake your head like youre some kind of a bad *** while in cuffs.

1, he was darn close to the 50. I was on that side of the field and saw it.

2, again if you're brave/stupid enough to run onto the field I would think you'd want to make the most of it regardless of consequences. But that's just me.
 
And here I thought we were all "safe" with all of this Per Mar security that actually stands with their backs to the field all game, watching the crowd, so they can intervene on any actual or potential unruly patron activity.

Guess not.

2* probably having problems emotionally given his ban on this site. probably never will be the same at kinnick regarding safety.

Don't worry Vin, your 'ol pal Norm is safe. I did critique his streaking pattern though. I mean if you're gonna do it, try to run all the way across the field. Not a 10 yard curl pattern, then surrender to das troopas. And can it technically be called streaking if you're wearing clothes?

Oh thank goodness. The thought of you sitting in the IC clink was making me anxious. Laughy, but anxious. :D
 
Urbandale, I got your back brotosaurus. He was within 10 yards of the fifty and once he saw the fuzz coming he was giving up. Saving some face by not evacuating his bowels on hallowed ground. I was up in the nose bleeds though so I was on a few second time delay.
