Alright I have been hearing alot of rumors of something wrong between players on the team. Where is the cousin uncle's brother who had the inside scoop?

Are you hearing it from the message boards? If things were bad.... I really doubt that we would get verbals from 2 top prospects that describe things as family. Our ply suggests problems... But these prospects comments suggest things are fine.

Alot of the media has been suggesting a tiff between the players in the last 24 hours. Miller even posted something about it.
 
I heard from my uncle's, niece's, brother's, sister's, mom's, grandma that nobody has a clue what's really going on.
 
Rumor has it that the Iowa players all post on HN, and several of them got into a fight about whether they lack mental toughness after the MSU loss.

The team hasn't been the same since.

Lots of people have been speculating that something is going on between the players. Dakich last night was pointing out the lack of communication, how nobody was congratulating their teammates after a nice pass or shot, and how there was no energy on the bench. Nobody looks enthused. It's speculation, but in a fanbase that is looking for why this team is sucking so much right now it makes sense as a theory. The other theory that works is that they are so much in their heads right now after losing a couple games that they can't get back on track or they've quit.

You quit when you got a bid to the Dance in your back pocket....I got a problem with that.
 
Typical rumors when a team falters. Find any team in the country that has lost five of six, and you will have message board rumors of transfers, infighting and dissension.

Yup. Go to our football board after a couple losses every year for speculation threads.
 
I love Fran and the job he has done here, but I feel like some of the intensity may be the problem. Think about Clemmons, a starter and a very good freshman player. This year he has turned in to liability, after public abuse from Fran. Gassel, a very good sophmore who sits on the pine for entire halves when he either makes a mistake or fouls someone. After the MSU loss Fran says we need a point guard to Dolph! This kid has better stats than Oliver or Horner as a sophmore. I wish one of the 15 assistant coaches would jump in and say somthing.

Screaming at everyone scares people and scared people can't shoot a free throw.
 
I would imagine Gary Dolphin knows.

It shouldn't be difficult to trick Dolph into saying it - is there another call in show, or are those over now?
 
I keep hearing it's a chemistry issue with 1 particular player... No idea if there is truth to it. When things go bad people grasp for a reason to hang onto and rumors start to fly.
 
I think we are a cold shooting team that has confidence issues. When you lose close game after close game that essentially come down to a couple shots made/missed...I can totally understand the frustration by the players.

If we could have come out with a win over Ind, Illinois, or NW (just 1-2) of these. This would not even be a topic, it at the very least would be an afterthought at best.

A decent shooting game and any win could solve a ton.
