Which former Hawkeye player would you bring back as a coach

J. Horner. Point gaurd runs the team on the court and shows leadership. He'd make a good coach.

Kevin Gamble. He was a great Hawkeye - clutch. He had a 10 year NBA career. Later, he was a successful coach at NAIA Illinois-Springfield. Then has been on staff with Keno Davis since.

Bobby Hansen......NBA champion and student of the game.

However, Hawkeye broadcasts would really suffer without Bobby at the mik.

Former player, grad assistant and current assistant Kirk Speraw. Got more out of UCF than they had a right to expect.

Kurt Stange. This way, people who call Kirk, Kurt, would no longer be able to do so, because it would be too confusing.

Dean Oliver and Jeff Horner are both making strides in the coaching profession. Horner actually replaced Oliver as head of basketball operations at North Dakota when he left to become an assistant at Illinois State.

Don Nelson is the only answer that makes any sense, but there is no way he is coming back from Hawaii.
