Going to have to defend much better in the 2nd half. Got to get back in transition and protect the paint and identify shooters. Can't throw up stupid shots on offense. Need to get the ball in the hands of our playmakers....JU needs to have a big 2nd half.

Missing MG. AC is not the same running the offense and the game is being called TIGHT. Iowa needs to make some adjustments. Dayton is a good team.

Team is soft... A lot of jump shooters and not good on D tonight. Mke is our best defender and Woody is another one of our better defenders so their foul trouble certainly hurt.

Why are there so many Dayton fans there??? I only hear them.

It was unreal. One of them asked me, "Why so few Iowa fans?" When I explained the football game was less than 24 hours away, the light bulb came on. He understood immediately.

That said, I'd be shocked if there were more than 50 people coming through the Hawkeye Huddle. There MAY have been 2000 Hawks fans in attendance. Dayton fans filled the place, and they had their band, etc. BTW, won't speak for ALL, but the Dayton fans Mrs. HawkeyeBob62 and I sat near were awful. Made Minnesota fans look like the embodiment of grace and cordiality.

That said, there's pretty much NO reason to hang around Dayton, even if it means being in uber-crowded Orlando during a holiday.
