That kid can shoot. His stroke looks like JO except he doesnt bend his upper body away from the basket like JO does.
 
Officially changing the channel. Jesus, playing at home against a team that's missing arguably its best player, and we can't even make it a ballgame?

I've been saying for a long time he's a terrible AD. I want him gone because I don't trust him making anymore coaching hires.

He totally botched the Lick hire, gave Ferentz the most insane contract in college football, and now has a basketball coach who isn't exactly setting the world on fire.

Barta is 100% the first man that has to go but sadly he won't go anywhere.
 
Again if our guards can't hit an open 3 we still have no shot cm going forward. Zero shot and zero chance go forward. I sold it before the game and it will haunt us all year. We can't hit an open 3 and we won't go past round 2 because of if. Fact and believe it
 
Said it before and I'll say it again - a team needs good shooters and/or good athletes and Iowa has neither. This team is not good.
 
The entire athletic department is a disgrace. Iowa isn't good at anything. The only thing they're semi-competent at is wresting, which only about 20 schools in the country even care about, and they can't even win THAT any more.

This game is a symptom. It's not the disease.
 
Ever since the Carolina game I was fearful that that was a fluke win because the favorite failed to shoot well. I was hoping we we're great defensively but it's looking like we're not.

We are 223rd in the nation in shooting and that's with a cupcake loaded schedule. I may be overreacting because this is a gut punch against our rivals but I'm still struggling to see how we beat the majority of decent/good teams on our schedule. I'm not seeing how we dance unless this offense improves a lot. It's made even worse when you continue to pass to the other team for layups.

Northern Iowa is going to run Iowa out of the gym. They play great team ball and can shoot.

Iowa is the 3rd best team in the state.
