Anybody got ideas where a good bar watch for the game might be??

I was thinking about starting at The Longest Yard in old valley junction, good hawk bar.

But if someone knows of another place that should be fired up with hawk fans let me know.

Wellmans West has great tvs and can have a good game crowd.

Look forward to hearing any good ideas.

Front Row in Windsor Heights is the best Iowa bar in the metro hands down, no exceptions, no substitutes.

This. Take it from a tax paying resident. Watch out for our nifty little radar contraptions...think 1 of them is stationed across from Front Row today. I noticed it but can't remember if it's right across the street or west a bit on University.

Thx. Now I know why your handle is WindsorHawk.

The Front Row bleeds Black and Gold. Haven't been there for a while, but will make some football games this season. Probably have to get there early because it gets crowded with wild and crazy Hawkeye Fanatics......

Tonight, however I will be watching with my son at home on the Samsung.....

I believe our determination and experience with close games, backed with outstanding swarming D will have us cutting down the nets, if they do that in the NIT.....

:)

Absolutely correct, they will stop you if you are going one mile over. WindsorHawk knows.....

Honestly, I've lived here for over 23 years and never had a ticket or been stopped...obviously will get 1 now. I figured they cut me some slack for being a resident but apparently that's not the case.

The little black car they have only tickets you for 12 and over. The flashy light one only tickets you if you're going ten over 60 feet passed it.
