Here are the teams that are 1 win away from bowl eligibility...

Arizona State (5-2)
Arkansas State (5-2)
Auburn (5-3)
Ball State (5-2)
E. Michigan (5-2)
Georgia (5-2)
Iowa (5-2)
N. Illinois (5-2)
North Carolina (5-3)
Ohio (5-2)
Rutgers (5-2)
SMU (5-2)
Syracuse (5-2)
TCU (5-2)
Temple (5-3)
Texas AM (5-2)
Texas Tech (5-2)
Toledo (5-3)
Wake Forest (5-2)
Washington (5-2)
West Virginia (5-2)

Here are the rankings via Massey's comparison:

10. Texas AM (5-2)
19. Arizona State (5-2)
21. Georgia (5-2)
23. Texas Tech (5-2)
26. Auburn (5-3)
31. West Virginia (5-2)
32. Washington (5-2)
33. TCU (5-2)
38. Toledo (5-3)
39. SMU (5-2)
42. Syracuse (5-2)
43. North Carolina (5-3)
44. Rutgers (5-2)
45. Wake Forest (5-2)
49. Iowa (5-2)
52. Temple (5-3)
57. Arkansas State (5-2)
63. N. Illinois (5-2)
75. Ohio (5-2)
77. Ball State (5-2)
78. E. Michigan (5-2)

That would put Iowa 15th out of 21 teams currently sitting one game away from bowl eligibility. Agree, disagree?

Equal to: Georgia, Washington, W Virginia, TCU,

Worse than: Auburn, A&M, Tech

Might throw Syracuse in there since they whooped up on WV, but I don't know if that was a fluke or not. Still think we might be as good as Auburn. Not sure about them.
