When Rutgers comes to town this fall

and you see their fans wearing t-shirts that say "SHI Stadium" If you are confused, it is now the new name of the Knights football stadium. It s a tech company called SHI International Corp. So Rutgers pretty much sold out.

I personally think they should add an "T" to the end of SHI ....it would be the perfect fit for their football program.

I was planning some BOLD predictions for the upcoming season and decided to include the prediction that if Iowa wants to have a successful season, then they need to beat Rutgers at home in their second game of the season.

Fail.

Somebody asked me if Rutgers was a private school. I told them that it was basically New Jersey State. Their response: Oh, I can see why they call it Rutgers.

Yeah - when Iowa played the Scarlet Knights in 2016, the mighty Hawks dominated lowly Rutgers 14-7. Lucky for Iowa that Janarion Grant got hurt, or the Hawks would have come up short in that one. I went to that game and the Scarlet Knight fans were great. Happy to be in the B1G and hoping they could begin recruiting enough home state and nearby players to become competitive. That may or may not happen, but I'm guessing that the game in Kinnick this September will be a lot closer than Iowa fans anticipate. Go Hawks!

I'm sure opposing fan bases will catch onto this quite fast.

I have to say, at the B1G functions in Central Florida, Rutgers fans are as cool as any. Obviously, Michigan will never be booted from the B1G, but it wouldn't be a problem, to me, if their fan base got the size 16 in the ass.

except eyes on the TV.
Not even eyes on the TV. It's people who were swindled in some package of channels that they don't want. The revenue comes from people who get a package of channels, 90% of which they don't want or watch, but still have to pay for it.

A depressing picture of the black out at Rutgers last year
