What's Your Personal Kinnick Streak?

I will unfortunately have to miss tomorrow's game against Wisconsin. It is the first home game I will have missed in 7 years (45 games) dating back to Oct. 25, 2003 vs. Penn State, thanks to my brother having his wedding on that day.

Prior to that I hadn't missed a game since 9/18/1999 vs. Northern Illinois. So that's 72 of 73 games.

I'm curious what your personal current or former games attended streak at Kinnick is?
 
I have only missed 1 game since Arizona State came to Kinnick in 2003. Also....to go to a wedding. Sheesh.

How many is that for me?
 
People should know not to get married in the fall. It's football season for s**t sake. I have not missed since UNI 05 I think for a wedding. They are divorced now. Waste of a day.
 
I haven't been to a ton of games due to living a good distance away BUT I have never seen the Hawks lose at Kinnick....and I will be in attendance tomorrow!!

I started season tickets in 2001. I missed the 2002 ISU game for a wedding, and the 2007 Syracuse game for a wedding. Like FromFry2Ferentz, I don't plan on missing any more. Fark the weddings.
 
I've missed one home game since 2000, also for a wedding. I don't plan on missing another either. Tomorrow will be my 24th consecutive game, including road games.
 
I have been to 57 straight home games dating back to the beginning of the 2002 season. Iowa is 48-9 during that home stretch. So the Ohio State game will be my 60th consecutive home game. I hope it is memorable. I want to throw roses all over Kinnick.

Those 9 losses are as follows:

1. ISU- 2002
2. Michigan 2005
3. Northwestern- 2006
4. Ohio State- 2006
5. Wisconsin- 2006
6. Indiana- 2007
7. Western Michigan - 2007
8. Northwestern - 2008
9. Northwestern - 2009

So yes. Northwestern has beaten us 3 times at Kinnick since 2006. Otherwise, I think I picked a pretty good time to become a season ticket holder. I have no idea how people sat through games during the 60's and 70's. I couldn't handle it in 2006 and 2007

I started going to home games in 2008 (my freshman year). I've not missed a game since the 2008 ISU game (It was homecoming back home, and I figured I'd have more fun watching the game with 20 friends than in the rain by myself). So I'm at 15 games. But, I've either attended, watched on TV, or listed on the radio for all but one Hawk game since the Minnesota game in 2002 (that was the first game of the streak). Missed the 2007 Syracuse game for a date. But I did try to listen to the game with my CD player/radio in the theater. Alas, no reception in there, damnit!
 
Not a Kinnick streak, but I’ve been to all the bowl games since the 2002 Orange Bowl. The catch…unbelievable. The officiating in the Florida game a year later….inexcusable. Last years orange…phenomenal. With that, my cousin has decided to get married on New Years eve. So if we finally get to the Rose Bowl again, I will be extremely happy, and very upset. WEDDINGS SUCK. GO HAWKS!!!
 
My longest streak at kinnick was from 1985 through the 2002 season with no misses. Now since I have a family I hit the big games.
 
at least 2 games a year since 84, all games 2 previous years, missed ISU, BSU and UW this year. I drive 320 miles each way.
 
I am too modest to streak in Kinnick Stadium, but I have been know to make it from my bedroom to the bathroom lickety split:)
 
I live in Des Moines and have attended 204 of the last 207 home games. Since the beginning of the 1977 season, I have missed two games to attend funerals and one to attend my daughter's soccer tourney in Missouri.
 
Every game this millennium. First one was sadly our first loss to WMU in 2000. Started with the folks, spent 4 years in both the old and new student sections and back in 137. Go Hawks.
 
I don't know the exact streak. Since 2001 I have only missed 2 games. Indiana 2007 for a wedding, and Michigan 2003 (girlfriend at the time had an emergency appendectomy).

I ain't even w/ that chick no more. Shoulda went to the game! Missed seeing the Razor Ramon Ochoa show in person!!!
 
Tecmo Super Hawk is my twin brother, we each missed the Penn St game in 2003 for one of our other brothers weddings. Prior to that I missed N. Illinois in 1999. I will be at the game tomorrow unlike my brother, so that means I am better than him in every way.

Come on STATE, that's cardinal. Bro's before hoes, man. That's BASIC LIFE KNOWLEDGE!!!!! ;)

Now, once you get married, all that stuff goes out the window, cause (hopefully), that one woman owns you. But until then, you're always one beer away from the next one :D
