Its almost like every single one of them dont want Iowa to win or make the tournament.

Our resume shows only 2 good wins (leave off Illinois and ISU) Who needs enemies when you have "friends" like that
 
"They" have no interest in giving Iowa more airtime during the non confetence. It would be a conflict of interest if Iowa were to make the tournament.
 
I'm not sure I understand the angst here. Iowa has won every game they were supposed to win with the exception of the first game against Nebraska. They've lost every game they were supposed to lose.

Nothing Iowa has done this year is anything that really stands out.
 
So a win over ISU and Illinois is not resume worthy? Both teams are in the RPI top 50 both are in the tournament.

"[R]esume worthy" is a subjective term, and without the proper context, it is onerous to to pass judgement on the degree to which this omission is slanderous.
 
It doesnt make any sense. The BTN should be campaining for every BIG team to make the tourney that has a shot. It really make sense from a fiscal point of veiw for the BTN.
 
I'm sure when the selection committee convenes, the first thing handed out will be screen grabs of BTN Tourney Resumes for each team.

no, but don't you think they watch as many games as possible? I just dont understand why our own network wouldnt try to pimp our ****.
 
Iowa is not great, and the fans are not saying they are. We know they don't have the "big" win. However, they are an above average team. They won and lost most of the games they should. I'm not really sure why the media (and whoever) would have liked to see Iowa have a win over Indiana and a loss to Northwestern as opposed to how Iowa ended the season. You are better off being a three point chucking team that might be hot on a single night as opposed to a solid and consistent basketball program.
 
Iowa turning the corner from a garbage team to an average team to a great team means the BTN crew would have to set aside their love affair with OSU. MSU, and Indiana. No one likes the newcomer at the party
