really, there's not much to separate minny, iowa, and illinois from each other

throw out rpi -- look at the strengths and weaknesses of what each of these three put on the floor and how they've played in conference

Not pimping Illinois by any means, but lets not forget they do have two wins against teams that have been ranked #1 this season. Not defending them, but that's definitely something in their favor.

What bothers me about it is that Gonzaga can be ranked #1 but Iowa can't make the tournament. We beat a team that beat them (Illinois) and a team(iowa state) that beat two teams that Gonzaga beat.

Oh boy. Please don't go there. "we beat a team that beat a team that beat a team that beat them" can be played by every college in the country. (Even Penn State can go there after their Michigan win.)

Agreed, face it we are the 6 that hangs around 2's and 3's to make themselves look better at the bar when reality they are just average.
