What's the most idiotic football comment you've heard this year?

Okeefe is right. The paying of players and the families is only happening in basketball. Is there enough proof for you in basketball Okeefe? Football is clean as a whistle. In football, there is no access to players like in AAU basketball...oh wait... everyone has camps every month, 7 on 7 tournaments, etc.
 
Is Johnny Maziel ready to return to the NFL? - Actual discussion on ESPN after he had thrown just 11 passes in a CFL preseason game, and sucked badly. He has since been traded, and sucked even more. Did not get a touchdown pass until Sept. 30 while playing on a 3-11 team.

I don't live in Alabama, bud. I'm in Carolina, in the foothills of the Appalachians. Having lived in Iowa and visited Alabama, I honestly don't think you can compare the two because Alabama is so much better. There are beautiful mountains as you come in from Georgia and you have the Gulf to the south. Unless your goal in life is to watch piss poor BCS level football, I'm not sure there is anything you can do in Iowa that you can't do in Alabama, but the activities involving getting outside in Alabama are 1000 times better. I guess if you've never left Iowa then Okoboji and Loess Hills are pretty impressive, though, so keep living in ignorance.

I've been to Alabama, bud. Dumber than a doughnut is the best way to describe the population base. And if that doughnut came off a Casey's bathroom floor, it would be cleaner than most Alabamians too. Don't get me started on that low life, cheating bunch of shit stains in North Carolina. Floods and mosquito pestilence is long over due for that state. Maybe there is a God after all and he hates cheaters too.

My theory is, that he's really a Cyclown fan that's too embarrassed to admit it. He really wants to talk trash to Iowa fans and the only way he feels like he can do it is by reppin a program that's "above reproach" like Alabama. He didn't do his homework, though. Bama's as dirty as any cheating program out there. That's why he's here.
 
@okeefe4prez - Look, I get that you are a Big Ten homer and want to claim some sort of moral high ground to explain the constant skull fvcking the SEC does to the rest of the country in football, but you're barking up the wrong tree here. One thing the SEC does that is far less rampant among crappier programs is the SEC will cut ties with recruiting busts and disguise it as a medical reason or something like that. When you're an Alabama or Auburn and you can sign 30 4 and 5 star guys each class, you gotta clear out some chaff every year. Now am I to believe that these SEC teams can just run guys and not leave a single scorned player who goes out seeking revenge? No. It makes no sense. If they were paying guys, every guy who got run would be out singing to the NCAA and media about how they got paid in the recruiting process and they would document it. There has been one such example in the past several years and that was that jackass Hugh Freeze at Ol Miss.

This qualifies as the dumbest thing I've heard this week^^^^^^

In a world where some waitress will put up a fake receipt on Twitter that says "SOREYY BUT WI DONT TIP BLK PPL" and get to the front page of every website for a day, do you really think these kids aren't going to blab like hell? Hell, if everyone in Alabama is as dumb as you say there should be hundreds of examples out of Alabama on par with those City Boyz Inc pictures.
 
Every time I’m back home and I go into a HyVee and see all the folks at the deli eating all you can eat fried whatever, I wonder to myself if Iowa is really that different than Alabama. Alabama is beautiful for the record.
