What's the most idiotic football comment you've heard this year?

"You've got Urban Meyer and Jim Harbaugh thinking, 'We better put a little more into that Nebraska game coming up.' And that's the way we want it. They're running a little bit scared right now. And they won't admit it. We'll leave that at that."

Bill Moos - Nebraska Athletic Director

Well, right now, Harbaugh isn't too frightened. I wonder how Urban feels.

Bethune Cookman can't come soon enough for Nebraska fans.

Runner up for me: "I think we should give Mansell a few series every game when the game is on the line."

Who said that? I think you need to re-read the thread. You don't seem to comprehend very well! ;) Here is a quote.

"Of course, game situation plays into it and a coach wouldn't put in a bad situation such as backed up on the 1 yrd line or depending on how close the score is."

Its a tie for the pre-game circle jerk at the beginning of every Husker game so far with every announcer guaranteeing Frost will return the program to its rightful place. Its so irritating as a fan of a developmental program where sometimes it feels like the sports media is minimizing what you've done for whatever reason (e.g. all of 2015). Its the sports world equivalent of your station in life being based on the luck of whose vag you slid out of.

Now...I wasn't calling you out...nor did I use your name. But this was the quote I remember.

"I think if your team is up a few scores or by a comfortable margin or down a couple scores, it's worth doing. Again, benefit in the long run."

This means the game is on the line...and I think it's stupid, especially if we are down a few scores. If you have a starter and he's not sucking or playing poorly...you don't pull him. He's the starter for a reason. You want them in the game and you don't want controversy.

My take...sorry.

Point me to the overabundance of @tksirius posts and I'll whittle it down to his dumbest 10...or 20...sorry @tksirius you know, deep down, you're my pal.

Seriously, dumbest thing I think I've heard/read is that we would beat Wisconsin. Yes, we are closer to them this year, but we just aren't there yet.

Mess with me one more time.
