How can it be dinner mid day? You must be Iowegian?
You go to dinner at a diner. You go to supper at a supper club. Were you raised in a barn??

supper
[suhp-er]
noun
  1. the evening meal, often the principal meal of the day.

  2. any light evening meal, especially one taken late in the evening:

Grilled some stuffed burgers on Sat. Combined cream cheese, bacon, jalepenos, shredded pepperjack and salsa verde in a mix, shape burgers into bowls and fill them with the mix - grill slowly and top w chipotle mayo. Shit's incredible.

My wife would be in heaven if she saw that, she loves kabobs.

Random story, we took a grilling class a couple years ago and they were strongly against throwing kabobs on the grill. They said that almost everything in a kabob needs to cook at different lengths and temperatures. For example, usually veggies take longer to grill than meat. So they suggested cooking everything on its own and then putting them on the kabobs after they're all done.

For the record we didn't listen to the guy because kabobs are awesome just like you have them, but that's what the "grill expert" said and I guess it makes sense.

Meat is the only thing that has a required cooking time so as long as you like the vegetables and fruit cooked for the same time as the meat you’re good to go. Actually I’d rather have my veggies on the slightly “less done” side so that they’re not mush.

In other words you won’t get sick from eating veggies or fruit even if they’re raw. If he was talking about mixing different kinds of meat, chicken and pork have similar cooking times and as long as they get done all the way you should be fine. Beef can safely be eaten rare (which is how I like it) so when I mix beef and pork/chicken I just go until they get done. Haven’t had a bad experience yet. :)

Oh for sure, its all personal preference unless you're talking meat.

Is that the video Doyle shows to visiting recruits to illustrate what he is going put them through? :D

Much of a buzz kill as it may be...this is true.

I guess I've never found it to be the case.

I don't think kabobs would be a thing if that were true. You skewer the stuff, grill/cook it, and then take it off the skewers and eat it.

So to cook it "properly" you'd have to cook everything separately, then put it on skewers, then immediately take it back off to eat?

To each his own for sure, but I've been doing tons of different versions of kabobs since I was old enough to cook and I tend to like just about all of them.

Come on.

The video is clearly showing how @tksirius would react to the news that Locure won't be a Hawk...

Lol, now that was funny.

You would think that a coach who was called white magic and played the guard position could recruit top notch point guards. Hopefully one of his boys can convince a top point guard to come on board. A sort of dual threat guard who can shoot, distribute the ball, take the ball to the rim, and DEFEND. Anybody have Santa’s address?
