What the Fleck

I just don't get how you take a transfer, absolutely rave about him and this happens. Fleck had plenty of time to evaluate him and should of had tons of film on him.
I guess I'm wondering how do you miss the mark by that far?
It just makes me go hmm. Something sounds off about it.
Could just be the kid isn't very good in their system, then why recruit him?
It just leaves questions.
 
That QB situation is ROUGH. Just 4 on the roster, all freshman, and a pretty comparable set of WRs to ours. Gonna be a tough year for the Goofer passing game.

I noticed that.thats why I was shocked about the transfer leaving.
Could be a long year for both Fleck and Frost.
Nebraska has has guys transferring left and right as well
The good news is, we have a chance to really make some noise this year. The bad news is we will probably know after ISU and Wisconsin how much noise.

That dude would need at least a solid 5 months to get that amount of weed out of his system.

And I know his child support garnishment isn’t much from Hardee’s, but how’s he going to keep up with the payments?
 
This entire situation as a whole is just rather odd. All the accolades and success as a running QB in both HS and at Riverside. He couldn't crack the top 3 at Minny for QB but now going back to Riverside to change sides of the ball to LB. If he's such a great a great QB and was once rated as a 4* QB and Michigan recruited him, why is he changing positions. The whole thing is rather odd.

It is odd. I think he was probably told he could come back (I assume that's where he wanted to go back to) but they didn't need a qb, but needed a lb.
The rest of it, is bizarre indeed.

.....yes, especially for the numbers that the guy put up as a QB. Weird.

Probably something similar Joel Lanning heard a year and a half ago.........what's weird is that he goes back to juco to switch positions. Why not just embrace the change where you are at?

O’Brien and Miles are the only two I know of and I follow those shit birds pretty close. Miles would have never seen the field anyway since Frost doesn’t use fullbacks.

Are there others I haven’t heard of? Not being a smart ass, honest question.

He was top-rated dual threat for JuCo QBs so my guess is he has a mental block, not a skills issue. That said, he came out of Spring third on a depth chart with no experienced QB, and had a less-than-stellar Spring game.

Definitely puzzling...

Well if you are putting the ball where needed and they are not catching it, that's not on you.
