I'm going to say scoring defense. If that happens, then they are successful.
What one statistic would you wish Iowa would lead the B1G Ten in this year?
I think the most concerning thing for me is that we can't just say "boy we had so many close games last year if we can just do a little better _____ we can win those". We were flat out humiliated in many of our games last year. Not even close enough to say "what if". We need vast improvements in so many areas to make up the point differential in many of those blowouts that it is hard to picture it happening. Sure hope they can. If Wieskamp starts right away, it is a good thing IMO because it means he is the real deal and an upgrade.
