What is wrong with you?

It sucks we lost, but get over it. The coaches and players are on to the next one, we have to do the same. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, but for heavens sake if you lose, walk across the field shake hands, say good game and move on. I can tell you with as long as the meltdowns are going around here, I am glad none of you arm chair qb's are coaching or playing. Get some character would ya. Be a man and stop acting like someone killed your wife and raped your dog. If you act like this at work, how does anything ever get done? Yes problems arise, things happen, but you cant dwell on that, you have to rise up to the challege, you dont just sit back and whine and point fingers. The coaches and kids are trying to move on and rise up, and thats what we expect them to do, so the least you can do in return is the same, if you cant than show some respect for those that do, by keeping your mouth shut.
I have seen posts on here about how people were fans back in the day when we were lucky to win a handful of games and I remember those days as well. Back when the players, were not playing for a chance to go to the next level. Now we have a very good program, one that promotes education and gives guys a shot to go on to play on Sundays. So stop acting like a spoiled little kid and remember, what being a fan is all about.
Just for a moment, stop and put things into perspective. I am thinking a true fan would be more supportive, a true fan would hold their head high and say "we will get them next time" and maybe just maybe a true fan would give KF the credit he deserves not only for what he does on Saturdays but for what he does for these kids year around.
Rant over.

true fans gret upset when their team loses a game they are heavily favored to win, true fans get upset when they see the HC basiccaly give up on his team and show no confidence in players to get the job done, True fans will always show support and disgust when the HC shows no guts, so get over yourself about the True fan BS

Good post olddude. It just seems ludicrous to me to come on here and say we should have done this or we should that, after the fact. Maybe those people should be talking to a shrink and working out their problems in that manner, instead of beating their drum and telling everybody what they would have done, b/c they know so much more than the coaches of course. (Hugh face palm)

The better complete team on the field last Saturday was Iowa State. Let's move on to Pitt.

I still think this team can and will improve a lot. There are many important games remaining.

Threads like this do nothing to help us move on to next week. You sir, are forcing us to live in the past.
Get over it and quit posting about everyone's reaction to last week.

Grow up, and can I have fries with that please. Like I said there are those that do, and those that dont.
Just one little question in your "he gave up on his team" thought there and I guess his "no guts" thought as well. You dont think it was pretty gutsy to put the game in the D's hands? You dont think he was showing faith in his D by putting the game in their hands? Maybe just maybe, he was thinking our O will be fine this year and if that D can get the stop, it would build momentum for them going into the year. Maybe just maybe he thought if we dont get the W, it wont affect our chances at Indy anyway, but if we do, alot of kids come away with some much needed confidence.
But I guess when you are worried about if that was super sized or not, you dont have a chance to think about things like that.

I agree with your post and this thread in general, however you're greatly mistaken if you think the complaining and frustration began after the fact., or in this case the loss. As fan's we've seen these events play out before in almost the same exact fashion and it was something the majority of us saw coming ahead of time, which is why so many are upset.

Take your own advice. I can handle the dozens of panic threads, what I can't handle are the dozens of "C'mon guys..." threads overflowing with self-importance and whiners drama.

O/U on how many more "we suck threads" get posted after this thread got posted? I would much rather see a board full of "man up threads" than a board full of, "I'm a spoiled little kid and did'nt get a pony for my b-day, threads".
We have a coach who doesnt have a foot people. You dont see him running around pizzing and moaning. He loses a foot and still "does". The team you are a fan of loses a game and it's the end of the world and I am going to ***** and point fingers all week long. Who's the better man?

giving up with 1:17 on the clock and 2 timeouts, that's quitting on the team and having no confidence, 4-1 in overtime with a runnig back that was the only one who got the ball in the 1st OT, who got the td and didn't get a chance to get a chance to pick up 1 lousy yard, and you can't tell me their defense was not tired, that is showing no guts, can't explain it any better than that

Yeah, I guess you're right, panic threads are so much better for the fans and the team. Good logic.

The "calm down guys" threads don't do a lick of good, either. All they serve to do is p*ss everyone off even more.

Ah, my first trip back to the boards since Friday night. I rarely venture to the boards after a loss w/o a few days passing. I need to get the anger/ disbelief, purged from my system, before I make a fool out of myself on a public forum.

I leave that up to you guys to carry on.:p;)

You stole my strategy! ;)

Well then let's see...no calm down threads, no fire the coaches threads...no I know more than the coaches threads, no coaches gave up on the team threads. What are we going to talk about? Oh I've got an idea, how about how we're going to kick Pitts a$$ thread and move on.

Winner winner, chicken dinner. If you have anger issues to work out, I suggest punching a bag instead of punching keys. It will do you alot better and it will help cut down on all the BS and negativity around here.
