I know very little about them. What are their strengths and weaknesses and who are their top players?

They will be outmatched by Iowa in every category. But they do say MTS QB is a poor man’s Brock Purdy. He is supposed to be a scrambler and tough to get your hands on him.

Their head coach has been there a long time. They've got a solid program....but honestly, I'm more worried about Beth Mowins possibly doing the game than I am the Hawks losing.

She’s not going to be there, saw on twitter it’s some guy I’ve never heard of

Well I just wanted info on their team from those who might know. I am pretty sure Iowa wins but remember Arkansas St?

Glancing at their stats....their QB has a 71% completion rate which is pretty impressive, but he's eaten 10 sacks in 3 games. He's also by far their leading rusher.

Their defense only has 2 sacks on the year....but of course Iowa only has 3.

The MTSU offense is based on spread-option and RPO schemes. Lots of quick passes, screen passes. Quarterback has the majority of carries. They have a stand out wide receiver, but so far this year have spread the ball around.

They have an established program that is often in contention for for the C-USA title. The quarterback is new this year. A juco transfer (If I am remembering right). They gave Meatchicken some trouble early in the season opener.

It is so weird for Iowa to have played 2 big games, one a conference game and one a big rival game on the road, and then MTSU. It feels like Iowa should already be done with the cupcakes.

Which does not mean I think Iowa is 100% guaranteed to win, but it just feels like Iowa should only be playing the big boys by now.
