To prop up your team?

The role of a fan to tear down a team? You'll have to explain that to me. Some of the stuff I am seeing on here tonight is some all time 'if you live long enough you'll read everything' stuff
Your incredulity is the very reason why I posted it. Just notice how many of the "imploders" here are tearing down their beloved team more than propping it up.
Sometimes the holier than thou posters are just as annoying as the "fire the whole coaching staff" posters.
Fans invest. They invest with their time, their money, their "heart". That kind of investment means that when the "return" on that investment isn't bearing out, you are going to get some ticked off people. It's human nature. Frankly, as long as there aren't F bombs being thrown around in here and you aren't calling for the entire staff to be fired tomorrow, I don't see much of an issue with people venting their frustrations.

I think the reactions of today let people know just how much this team is LOVED. Apathy is the only other choice or if you are happy about your teams losing effort today well, that is a whole nother problem in itself. If people didn't get on here and get critical after poor performances they should cheer for ISU cuz they would be happy with a close loss.
Somebody here gets it. If I wanted sunshine and good feelings I would go upstairs and hang out with my wife. I'm on the message boards to vent, and to hear other fans venting. It's a part of the coping process, and it happens almost every time we lose. If you don't want to be a part of it, don't travel to the message boards after a loss until midweek.

Pay up and shut up apparently.
