Curious the mix here on HN and posting this here since it's most active right now.
Me...
Football - Haven't missed a game on TV, radio, or in person since before I can remember. Probably in the 80s if I had to guess and I'm 45 years old. Always had a wonderful connection with my now deceased old man and same with my son now, too many tender memories to stop ever. I would follow Iowa football just as closely if we had five 0-12 seasons in a row.
Wrestling - Same as above. Holds a very, very special place in my heart. Long time season ticket holder since I was an adult and even though not all matches are televised I always try to find the radio feed if I can't watch.
MBB - Also similar to football from the 80s onward, although the last couple years my attention has admittedly waned. It got to be so bland it was tough to make a point of it, and all the fire Fran shit grated on me too much. Once the Garza/Murrays era ended I fell off a little. I'll tune in again to see what Run BMC and crew are all about.
Baseball - Follow results and watch when able.
WBB - Don't follow at all. No knock on the sport itself but it isn't exciting for me. If I said it was I'd be lying and I ain't gonna lie. The Clark and Bluder hype train was cool and all and I respect the sport and its players, just not my bag.
Track and Field - Follow results, I got really into T&F and XC once it became a big part of my son's life. I follow Team USA, college, and HS in general.
Other sports - Do not follow.
