Of course a win is #1 but Clones are playing well and at home will be tough if I was betting I guess I would take clones and give the 2 or 3 point soread

Next is to see we have a winning QB. Maybe he was nervous or over anxious but he was not good. Even the short passes he completed were not all well thrown. Big ??

Secondary can defend a good passing attack

Offensive line can make some holes in a good defense who could be stacking line of scrimmage

Lbs can make some big plays. Someone need s to create some turnovers

DL can pressure QB. I didn’t think we were good at that last season This will tell us a lot

RBs can continue to look good. Big difference in defense this week from last

WRs can get separation and make some plays. But it goes back to QB being able to make throws

I can take a loss if we play well. Not many teams will win at Iowa State

I generally agree with your points. I will say that I don't think we know how good either one of these teams are. That KState win was not pretty and K-State's near loss to North Dakota at home calls into question how good they are. Both Iowa and Iowa State have veteran teams and should be good this season, but I don't know that either one of them is a playoff team. Both have a chance to be in that discussion, but neither has shown that they are. I think it is a fair statement to say that the winner of this game has a decent shot at making the playoffs.
