What field goal/point after kickers are in line for next year?

Has anyone heard anything about them from past practices over the last two years?

The hawks have quite a string of really damn good kickers the last 6-8 years or even more.

Actually you have to go a long ways back to find the last kicker to stink the joint up. Kyle Schlicher went 13 for 20 in '06 as a senior, but he had good sophomore and junior seasons. And before that we obviously had Nate the Great.

Iowa's kickers overall in the Ferentz era have been really, really solid.

Last I heard he was training Navy Seal's or some shit

The last kicker who struggled for Iowa probably was Trent Mossbrucker.

That period between schlicher in 2006 and Meyer in 2010 was a little murky. Daniel Murray is remembered as the guy who hit the game winning FG against #2 PSU in 2008, but he was not the normal kicker that year. Trent Mossbrucker was actually the normal kicker in 2008, including most of the PSU game. But KF went with a gut feeling and had Murray attempt the game winning FG against PSU instead of Mossbrucker. After that, Mossbrucker just kind of fell apart and never was the same again, or at least that's the way everybody remembers it. Murray took over the rest of 2008 and all of 2009.

Mossbrucker redshirted in 2009. Then in 2010, Murray was gone, and Mossbrucker got another chance and was the kicker again until the 2010 Arizona game, when he missed an extra point and got replaced by Meyer. After that Meyer held the kicker job for 4 years while Mossbrucker sat on the bench for his last 3 years of eligibility.

To Mossbrucker's credit, he finished out his career at Iowa, and was seen being very supportive and active on the sidelines until he graduated.

The weird part is if you look at Mossbrucker's stats, they don't look that bad. He had a few missed extra points but overall his percentages were good. Its still kind of a mystery why KF pulled him for Murray against PSU, but it kind of turned into a self fulfilling prophecy after that.

Mossbrucker is nebraska’s director of recruiting.

Not even joking.
