What are the best basketball programs, job wise?

If I could take any job in the country it'd be Texas. Unbelievable facilities, great location to recruit to, tons of talent instate, and almost zero pressure to win at a high level. It's unreal.

I've been following this Illinois thing pretty closely. Apparently there is a big turnoff in recruiting Chicago. The fans expect any coach to recruit Chicago, but getting talent out of that snakepit is brutal.

Dealing with Chicago AAU coaches and club agents must be a nightmare! I would be shocked if there isn't a boatload of money being exchanged. People complain because Iowa doesnt get kids from Chicago but I hope we never get involved with illegal recruiting1

Illinois is showing the country why nobody wants the job. Geez, two members of the board voted against hiring the football coach because he is white and now there is similar opposition to hiring a white basketball coach. Ahhh Shaka Smart, ok Leonard Hamilton, ok, Lorenzo Romar and rumors they vetted Johnny Dawkins and Jeff Capel.
