Seriously, how you Ferentz haters feeling right about now? You guys made us feel like crap after the Northwestern win, and again after the Michigan win, now what are you guys going to say to make us feel like crap after beating Nebraska on the road?

Come on, give me something!

It was all Pelini's fault. The officials screwed the Huskers. Iowa held on every play. Iowa committed a bunch of pass interference penalties that were not called. Nebraska had too many injuries. Nebraska is not really a good football team anyway, along with every other team we beat. Does that help?

Most people prefer Ferentz but wished he coached differently. It appears that he has modernized his approach a little bit throughout this season. He is mixing up the running backs, mixing plays, taking chances, blitzing.... These are things it takes to win in today's game and he appears to be shifting his philosophy.
 
maybe your skin is too thin if you let those people make you feel like crap after an iowa win. sure, listening to those guys constantly belittle the team and KF gets old, but i don't let them get to me and bring me down to their level.

iowa is 8-4 and headed to a solid bowl. enjoy it and forget everything else
 
My big frustration this year (and last) was the fact that Ferentz hired a guy that didn't seem to know how to coach the way Ferentz wanted him too. It has gotten better on the offensive end this year, but I still don't think that we are getting close to full potential from our offensive unit. Maybe GD will continue to get better, I hope he will.

Nobody "HATES" Ferentz, Einstein. They often criticize his coaching, and most of the time it has been warranted.

How bout just enjoying the Win and the way this team finished. The last two games were as tough as we've seen the Hawks play in a couple of years. Great wins!

Well said...but don't dare criticize ever again now that we got to 8-4.
 
It's easy to pile on and focus on the negative. There were plenty of Ferentz critics. Hell even some compared him to Lickliter. Ferentz has turned around this team 3 separate times after bad seasons. He exceeded most of his critics expectations. Damn right I will enjoy the moment. But I see no problem calling out those who were critical of KF. I know those "Fire KF" supporters were roasting the KF supporters pretty often early in the season. I'm happy for the Hawks and Ferentz. Both deserve this. Here's to keeping things rolling in our bowl game and into next season.
 
Seems the haters have changed there tune from "Ferentz needs to go" to "we just criticize his coaching"

I don't have a problem if you want to go another route and that's your opinion but stick with it and don't back away from it or admit you were wrong and changed your mind.

whats really so comical and annoying however is how besides about 3 posters none of these "told ya so" ferentz people made any posts defending him the past months... but now they are in a mad sprint for their key board.

I'm fine with people disagreeing with me or whoever... but sheesh have the spine to say it all the time.
