We've gone as far as we can go with Kirk

I'm dead serious, this is what Iowa football is and will be with Kirk as the head coach and Barta as the AD. We are a blah, boring, middle of the Big 10 pack football program. Last year was a fluke, and it saved his ass and gave him an extension thanks to Gary. Outside Michigan and Nebraska, this season really sucked. Next year will be awful/ I bet we go to Madison and get our asses handed to us as will Ohio St when they come to town.

This is his style of play. Out of 12 game seasons, nearly every game is played the same way. We are lucky to be in the Big10, cause any other conference and I don't think we break 7 wins consistently.

Our offense is bad most years. Best years they're average, and we haven't had a year like 2002/2005 forever.

He wants to run out the clock. Win field position battle, and create turnovers.

It's good enough for us to win 6-8 games a year (because of bad OOC, and weak conference) with the occasional magical year like 2015, but we were exposed by the better teams that year (MSU, Stanford)

I have no idea how we beat Michigan, other than maybe Michigan didn't think they had to show up.

What a mess this program is in. Lose to FCS school, MAC schools, beat Blue Bloods, get blown out in bowl games

our last 5 (straight) bowl losses are by a combined 171 - 68. No wonder Oliver Martin doesn't want to go to Iowa. who the eff would if you are a WR?

I wouldn't be surprised if AW said effit. he's going to get murdered next season with no passing offense and could lose both knee's and any chance of getting a pro contract. i wonder how many players are not happy that our fearless captain left CJ in the game to be a sitting duck and risk his health before the NFL combines. See, that's the thing. Kirk is not a good man. He's a stubborn controlling asshole stuck in some Amish community from the '50s.

Barta got away with making his mistake the first time. I really hope KF will only stick around for a couple more seasons,then calls it a career. Thats the only way oout of that damn contract.

It's called an upset. That's the problem because upsets happen every year across the country when things just happen or fall the right way. The problem is the upsetting program gets a 'false' bump that never lasts. That's been the ISU issue in the past after beating us... thinking they are getting better but really going no where as a program. We saw that we NDSU this year. Beat us but not a national title winner. They were not that good but outplayed is like we did Michigan.

Upsets amount to fools good.

The UI is not going to fire KF and pay him 4.5 million a year and pay a new coach 4 million a year. Then if that coach sucks you have to hire a new third coach

You have to put up with KF and if for some reason he can get a passing game like last year they can win double digit games in a year.

I dont think it is boring when Daniels and wadley are ripping off runs and we can also pass decent like in 2013 and 2015.
