man, i should have been an avg HC or AD. if only i had it to do all over again.
Lol, hell maybe you can be a ball boy for Iowa he is probably knocking down $350,000 a year.

He most certainly was a large part of the problem. He is inaccurate, period. Cannot handle pressure, did a shit job of getting us in the right play, which even PSU sophomore qb could do, which gave them a td when Colbert was out of position and he saw it.Yup. Stanley, for all his faults, was far from the issue tonight.
We would never know because captain dumb dumb and his son wouldn't dare try someone else for a series or two ever. No matter how bad our starting qb plays.Nate Stanley is average. He's always been average. He'll never be any better than average. Y'know...you MIGHT have a QB on the roster who's better than average.
lol i'd bet i could get $100k just standing next to kirk reminding him of how much time is on the clock and how many time outs we have.

Stanely may not be great, lacks composer at times of stress, & makes slow reads...
But our offensive design, play calling, and oline performance have all been a greater issue this year.
I don't care if Tom Brady is back there, almost any QB likely struggles in these circumstances.
A good part of the Stanley criticism the past twelve hours has been directed at his audibles, which is 100% on Nate.Stanely may not be great, lacks composer at times of stress, & makes slow reads...

He also should have read that the receiver behind Weiting was going to break open on man coverage in the back of the end zone . That’s not about patience , that’s throwing the ball before the receiver breaks . I am now beginning to wonder if our 3 year starter truly knows this offense . When you watch his audibles he also looks cluelessyou are right. but a 3 yr SR starter needs to nut-up and figure out a way to win. stanley goes into his shell and covers his nuts with both hands way to often. he had plenty of time on the 2-pt conversion and he still panicked and missed tgood.
There was no box to get outside of.Stanley can not extend a play with his feet. He can't even get outside the box to throw the ball away. His accuracy is very inconsistent.

This exactly.Possibly true. But with even an avg oline by Iowa standards, I have a hard time believing we aren't 6-0, even with our avg qb.
Oline has been a full blown disaster the last 2 games.
The PSU sophomore qb doesn’t do the audible. The PSU sideline does.He most certainly was a large part of the problem. He is inaccurate, period.
