The two deeps Jon posted have Blythe at 275...I always like to look at this stuff. Some serious progress for a few people. I've said in the past that this year our line would average well over 300lbs and there were some skeptics. Based on the spring depth chart...here you go:
Scherff - 315
Boffeli - 295
Blythe - 300 (plus 25 wow)
Donnal - 305
Van Sloten - 300
I think Simmons is going to push Boffeli also...and he's 305. I just have a feeling we are going to be strong upfront and are going to be able to run the ball.
Impressive weight gains on the defensive side also...especially with some of the DE's.

The two deeps Jon posted have Blythe at 275...
Didn't know what happened, but glad I asked for explanation. Thanks.Jon posted a mix of last year and this year I believe. Van Sloten is 300 from the latest list. I think the ones I posted from the pay site are accurate. There is no way Blythe, at 20 years old, goes a full year without adding weight, especially when he needs to. I trust the 300 number...he's a big framed kid. He looked bigger than Ferentz last year...and was listed 10 pounds less.
I was there, also. When they got up to walk out, which is when I saw them, it was, "I hope they won't take a dislike to me..." You just don't really realize how big those guys are until you see them up close and personal. It is a similar feeling you get when you watch Josh O., for example, on the bb floor and he looks small...then you walk next to him and he is 6'5".
