Again, this report is a compilation of several individual Tweets about the PTL games, so I do not claim any of the info nor the accuracy of the data...

Early game...Archie's team won 94 - 84
Archie - 7 pts
May - 17 pts
McCabe - 22 pts and 10 boards

Late games

Gatens/Brommer's team won 95-87 (Brommer seems to have been impressive)

Brommer- 23 pts and 11 boards
Gatens- 26 pts, 11 boards, and 11 assts
Cully 20 pts and 8 assts
Stoermer- 7 pts
Uthoff 10 pts

Marble/Cougill's team beat Basabe's 104-102

Cougill - 18 pts and 12 Boards
Marble- 30 pts
Basabe - 29 pts and 10 boards

That is all I have...

Thanks Nebraska. Much appreciated. I realize other people may have heard conflicting reports, but I have heard good things about Brommer the last month or so.

Everyone is high on Basabe, but I think Marble is going to be the headliner of this class when it is said and done.

Archie's team? Really? Isn't that a bit like calling the Lakers Walton's team?

Glad to hear that Cougs is on board and losing weight. If he got to 250lbs by November, that is impressive, and imo, about where he should be. He is 6'9'' and has a barrel chest naturally,so hard to stay strong and get much lower. If he is a hard body at 250...all good. Sounds like Brommer and Cougill will battle for center, along with Jarryd Cole...Archie?...an afterthought, imo, who should graduate next spring and play his last year at a No. Ky. ,like David Palmer, giving Fran 4 schollys to use next year, hopefully with Coleman,Uthoff,Olgesby, and Katenda.

I think Archie will play PF and by default will get time. Basabe will start and then it's empty after that.

In these clips Basabe and Marble are the only two players that look like Big Ten talent.

That one where Cougill just gets freaking used on defense is sad. He is also getting outrebounded by little guards. Nice outside set shot. That is about it. But a fat, slow, kid with a nice outside set shot does not belong in the Big Ten.

That's a little harsh on Cougs... seriously.

Archie won't see the floor much at all next year. No skills.

I agree, which is why I said he would get minutes by default. Even if we play McCabe predominantly at PF I think Archie would see some minutes. The only other guy who could possibly play the position is Cougill. I don't know how many minutes we can ask Basabe to play a night.

Payne/Cartwright/(Murphy)
Gatens/Marble/Stoermer
May/McCabe
Basabe/Archie
Cole/Brommer/Cougill

This is exactly why McCaffery is recruiting PF's so hard for the 2011 class

Cole can play the 4 too, can't he??

Also, maybe we go small at times and trot out...

Payne (or Marble)
Gatens (or Marble)
May
