***Week Two B1G Pick 'Em Thread***

Welp, tough day for Fryowa...@InGoodCo and @Hillcrest1981 topping the charts this week.

Here is the updated sheet-------> B1G PICK 'EM and below are this week's games to pick from.

There will be tabs at the bottom for each week as well as cumulative standings. If anyone needs help or has questions send me a DM. That guarantees I'll see it.

For week 2 you guys know the drill, give me your picks to win, and who you think gets the first penalty of each game. If it's easiest just cut/paste and bold or highlight your picks. As always, check the sheet for mistakes and lemme know if I missed anything.

Minnesota @ Maryland
MSU @ Michigan

Hopefully Iowa adds some more words to their helmets... like TACKLE or BALL SECURITY.

Wisconsin/Nebraska game is officially scratched from this week's pick 'em.

@InGoodCo picked Debbie right outta the gate, that right there is probably worth .25 points by itself.

Not to sabotage the thread, but wouldn't it be absolutely hilarious if the remainder of Nebby's games were cancelled this season due to Covid. Obviously I'd love to see them lose every single week, and would hate to see Covid hit our team, but couldn't help but laugh at the thought of every team on the remainder of their schedule coming down with the bug. Almost all conference teams getting a partial season (that doesn't matter) completed and them getting what they absolutely deserve, would be priceless.

I don't want anyone getting sick, but to see them have to print 0-1 for the 2020 season in all of their programs from here to eternity would be my idea of heaven.

I would find no greater joy then hearing them talk all big and bad about playing anyone anywhere and then whining about the schedule they were handled only to see them get completely curb stomped in their only game of the year. Wouldn't that be karma at its cruelest. (or sweetest) depending on how you look at it.

I'd rather see them play everyone and get beat. Otherwise all we're going to hear is "Well we played the best team in the conference! We would have been anyone else we played!" Naw...I don't want any gray area. I want to see them curb stomped by everyone they play, so their fans have no excuses. Or maybe everyone except like Illinois, where they have to go to 4 overtimes to beat them by 1 point. Then they'll have to evaluate where Illinois is a program and how they compare. :)

I'm definitely on board with you, but at the same time there's the crushing blow to the team watching them get amped up week after week thinking they're taking the field only to have it cancelled. I just think on my time as a coach and having games cancelled that aren't able to be rescheduled almost stings as much as losing itself. It's a completely different type of defeated feeling.

I think it'd be hilarious if they got like 3 games (OSU, Iowa and Northwestern) and lost them all. That way it would eliminate the excuses AND deprive their fans of being able to watch football. Their fans only getting to see 3 games after their pouting fit would be great.

I'm comfortable with this compromise.
