Try living in Colorado. You'll go from 70 or 80 to snow.

The Winter storm watch has been cancelled for Iowa City. There will still be some precip but it will be primarily rain.

Seriously though, meteorologists get paid to tell you the weather, and only 2 days ago they said it would be almost 50 degrees today. Now it is supposed to snow 2-5 inches.

The weather channel is saying 70-80% chance of snow throughout the day into tomorrow now. I haven't seen how much they are expecting. It's holding off in Cedar Rapids right now but it's dark.

Local stations are now saying 1" - 3" of snow (if that) with rain for the majority of today. You can definitely tell the Weather Channel loves to hype up these type of events for rating purposes.
