I'm convinced we are just a better version of Wisky. Better on D and our QB is better.

Wiscy's offense is just as good as Ohio State's, but they don't have as much speed on the edges nor do they have the mobile QB who puts so much pressure on the front 7. Miller killed us today. Stave won't convert third downs will his legs like Miller did. On the other side of things, Melvin Gordon is better than anyone on Ohio State's team, and I'd say Wisconsin's running game is slightly better than OSU.
Defensively, Wisconsin is probably a push in comparison to OSU.
I agree that we "should" beat NW. But there's been a lot of years we "should have" beaten NW. For whatever reason, their offense has been a philosophical mismatch with our defense. Will we make some changes to what other people have done to slow them down as of late? That remains to be seen.
Saying we should beat Wisconsin is nuts though. They're better than we are. They have equal or better oline. 5-times better RB. 1 WR who is way better than anyone we have. And their defense is just as good as ours. I'd say their offensive scheme overall is just better than ours too. We have Kinnick Stadium and that's about it. We won't be favored against the Badgers nor should we be.

Joel Stave is better than Ruddock. Better arm by a long shot.
Maybe we found our identity on offense today.. we thought early in the fall we had 3 tight end offense but really didn't use it until today. What if we had started day one with the offense today?

Well, for #1, they're certainly more battle tested. They went on the road and should have beaten a pretty good ASU team. They went on the road and played Ohio State closer than we did on the scoreboard, and if you watched their game against Ohio State, they played them closer overall.
Then they absolutely destroyed NW. I guarantee you that we won't beat NW even remotely close to how Wisconsin beat NW.
I see their defense playing us just as good as Ohio State's played us today, and to be honest, we played about as well as we could have offensively today against Ohio State.
Finally, they have Melvin Gordon and they run a spread, flex, Urban Meyer type offense. And they have better WR's than we have. That's what I see. It's pretty obvious.

I'm happy you're satisfied with that game. We got dominated the second half. The score was closer than what it really was.THEY DIDN'T PUNT ONCE. That is equivalent to dominated.

Slow your roll, and spell our QB's name correctly. Joel Stave has two stud running backs. One could argue he has the best running back in college football. When he goes out, they replace him with another RB better than any of ours. Then he has a beautiful possession WR and very serviceable tight ends.
Rudock is a sophomore with way less at his disposal. Ruduck is also the better QB.

So are you saying Peyton Manning isn't a better qb than Brandon Weeden cause he has better players around him? Just cause Stave has more weapons doesnt mean he isn't responsible for success they have. Stave is better than Rudock. Regardless of players around him. Success of a qb is based on himself and not people around him. It may help but does not lead to deciding who is better.
